These rentals are a steal for the amount of rent you pay! I've lived here one year so far and re-signed for another year. I've lived in a few apartments before moving to Starkville, and never had a landlord take care of any repairs or problems so quickly. He takes care of them w/i the same week, usually w/i 24hrs of notifying him. I love the location...close to campus, but not too close. I would recommend these rentals to both my family and closest friends.

Do you get annoyed by potholes or concerned about them causing damage to your vehicle? Then you’ll love this parking lot, full of uneven, cracked concrete with craters that are massive in size. You can try to swerve and miss them, but you’ll find it’s near impossible. Use caution coming into/out of the lot because the pavement was poured at a 90 degree incline and will scratch the bottom of your vehicle. Garbage facilities are also worth noting. With only one dumpster for the 50+ units in the complex, the trash regularly overflows and has been known to attract rats. Waiting for improvements to these kind of problems (new pavement or more trash bins)? Don’t hold your breath. This place is more than 10 years old and no one has bothered to lift a finger yet. Don’t like your neighbor’s music? Well, too bad. The walls are nice and paper thin for your listening pleasure of all noises coming from next door as well from the parking lot. In case of no music, you can rest assured one of countless dogs in the complex will be barking at something, somewhere.

I lived there for the past 3 years. They are great apartments! Only 3 minutes from campus, quiet, very reasonably priced, concrete floors and spacious layouts. The landlord was very courteous and respectful of privacy. Great living experience while going to school.

To current and future students at MSU: Do not rent an apartment at Bulldog Bluff. The location of the apartments are top notch, and you'll never hear me say that the location was a problem. However, the landlord is not a nice individual. He's all smiles until he can't squeeze another dime out of you or you make a complaint that might cost him money to fix. Anyone who knows me or my father knows that it takes quite a bit to push us past our breaking points. People know that I don't cuss. I've cussed concerning this man, and I'll probably do so again if I think much about him. If there was a way to report this man, I would do so in a heartbeat. He needs to get out of the landlord business because I personally believe he might eventually be a danger to his tenants.
Yes, he made me angry. However, I am more concerned with any friends of mine that might consider renting from him. Save yourself a headache and avoid Bulldog Bluff.

I've lived there for 5 years, and I couldn't have had a better experience. The landlord is excellent and most of all, he is really fair. HIs prices are extremely reasonable for such a nice space and convenient location. Also, If there was ever anything wrong with my apartment (e.g., washer/dryer problems, dishwasher leaking, etc.) He not only took care of the problem personally himself, but it was taken care of either the day of or the next day. The apartments had exactly what I needed to live comfortably. You have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and even a balcony or porch depending on what floor you live on that I spent many a nights grilling and reading on. My dog definitely enjoyed the vast empty field in the back where she would run around and couldn't be happier. The location is great, it's about a 3-4 minute drive to campus and it is next to the highway so that it doesn't take long to get to Wal Mart, movie theater, or the cotton district. The landlord also makes sure that his tenants have privacy, and that there are no loud noises or disturbances so that I could focus on my studying. I highly recommend living here as opposed to somewhere else where it takes a work order and 2-3 days before anything can be done with any problems with the apartment. In sum, great apartments, great landlord, and a great college experience.

Great apartments. All painted concrete floors, and pets allowed with deposit. 2 bedrooms are very large with walk in closets. 1 bedrooms are on the small side but still very nice.
